Safety Partner

We are seeking a dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in promoting workplace safety and making a positive impact within our community.

About the Role
  • Develop strong partnerships to foster a culture of workplace safety.
  • Drive compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
  • Engage and coach staff and management to enhance workplace safety performance.

The Safety Partner will report directly to the Work Health and Safety Lead Specialist and work closely with stakeholders to provide advice, coaching, and support on WHS matters. This role requires a high level of analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing the capability of staff and managers to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
  • Providing quality customer service and creating value for the community.
  • Contributing to a safe and healthy work environment by implementing WHS initiatives and developing compliance frameworks.

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree qualification in a related field or substantial experience in a similar role with ongoing professional development. You will also require a WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Card and a Class C driver's licence.
