Job Opportunity in Rural Healthcare

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to work across emergency, acute, and residential aged care in a welcoming and well-supported rural setting.

  • We have 9 Acute beds (including 1 palliative care bed), 15 Residential Aged Care beds and 2-bed Emergency Department (plus a consult room).
  • You will join a collaborative team of four nurses per shift (split across acute and aged care), with strong escalation pathways and the support of Clinical Nurse Educators, paramedics, and telehealth services.
Your Role

As a Registered Nurse at our MPS, you will:

  • Provide person-centred care across acute, ED, and aged care
  • Respond to a broad range of presentations, from minor injuries to cardiac and trauma
  • Take clinical leadership as RN-in-Charge on shift
  • Collaborate with virtual care teams for safe emergency management
  • Support residents and their families with compassionate care that respects their stories and experiences
