Job Description

As a Senior Service Designer at Local Peoples, you will play a key role in facilitating design thinking processes and working closely with internal stakeholders to create high-quality, user-centered service designs. You will be expected to assess project scope critically and work with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful design outputs that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Thinking Facilitation: Facilitate design thinking workshops and collaborative working sessions with internal teams and stakeholders to solve service delivery challenges.
  • Service Blueprint Development: Develop service blueprints that align with PPPTD and facilitate co-design activities with stakeholders.
  • Design Research: Apply design thinking and systems thinking approaches to assess project scope, manage change, and deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with UX Researchers to conduct design research using both qualitative and quantitative techniques, and support the creation of customer journey maps, system maps, and other service design artefacts.
  • Mentorship and Support: Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, helping to develop design skills and knowledge.
