As a Senior Hydraulic Service Design Consultant, you will support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level across our Building Services discipline. The ideal candidate will possess building services industry exposure as a Senior Hydraulic Designer.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Produce technically competent and commercially realistic hydraulic services designs and documentation specified to comply with Australian standards and authority codes.
  2. Provide clear and concise instructions and mark ups to the drafting and 3D modelling pool.
  3. Ensure that accurate drawings and registration systems are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external.
  4. Ensure project deliverables are provided with consideration to fee scope, financial and resource management.
  5. Coordinate requirements between other disciplines and perform checks of documents and drawings of other discipline.
  6. Coordinate or perform discipline check for design documents and drawings (QA).
  7. Participate in the further development of hydraulic services design capabilities / continued professional development.
Skills & Experience:
  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications (Cert IV in Plumbing or BSc).
  2. Registered with the RMS for NSW Class 2 Building Practitioners Design declarations (preferred and highly regarded).
  3. Demonstrated experience working within the building services industry as a Senior Hydraulic Designer.
  4. Sound knowledge of Revit software, AutoCAD and BlueBeam.
  5. In-depth knowledge of the AS3500 suite of standards.
  6. In-depth knowledge of the National Construction Code and Plumbing Code of Australia.
  7. Cross-discipline knowledge with a broad understanding of Australian Standards.
  8. The ability to conduct client meetings & on-site measures for presentations if requested.
