Project Manager Civil

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join UGL as a Civil Engineer, responsible for providing engineering and administrative coordination for the design, supply, construction, and testing of projects. The successful candidate will be based in the Brisbane office, with regular travel to site in north Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure projects are constructed to technical, quality, and customer requirements.
- Ensure survey of installations is conducted professionally, with results reviewed and accepted as correct.
- Assist the Project Manager with compliance to the UGL Management System.
- Liaise with Construction Manager to ensure projects are on schedule.
- Provide a focal point for technical-based queries for civil/structural subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide engineering advice for subcontractors/suppliers.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparation of monthly reports and attend monthly report meetings with clients.
Requirements
- Civil Engineering Qualification.
- Significant engineering experience in design, construction, and commissioning on Brownfields and Greenfields projects.
- Strong communication skills, including negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships.
- Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
