Job Description:

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our HR operations and fostering a positive workplace culture.

This is an opportunity for a skilled professional to work on various administrative tasks, advisory support, and other responsibilities that come with this position.

We are seeking someone who can manage HR systems efficiently, run engagement programs, and provide guidance to leaders and employees on compliance, satisfaction, and performance.

  • Manage and update HR databases to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Support the onboarding process, including system setup, stakeholder coordination, induction meetings, and surveys.
  • Provide relocation and visa assistance while ensuring compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Handle HR documentation, policies, and key annual processes like salary reviews and performance cycles.
  • Contribute to Culture Amp surveys, maintain the Sonder database, and support employee engagement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Human Resource Strategist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Providing coaching and support to managers on people management, performance feedback, and fostering an inclusive workplace.
  • Assisting with performance and employee relations processes, including goal setting, reviews, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensuring a seamless offboarding process that adheres to best practices.


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working in small HR teams, ideally in start-up/scale-up environments.
  • Strong communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for different audiences.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to stay updated on HR laws, Awards, and Fair Work regulations.
  • Highly organised with a focus on urgency, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Culture Amp, and other relevant tools ensuring data accuracy and insightful reporting.
