The role of an Assistant Manager involves partnering with diverse public and private sector organisations across multiple industries, executing audits for large companies ranging in size and industry. Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead and develop an Audit team to ensure successful completion and execution of assigned engagements.">
  • Execute comprehensive audits for proprietary and listed companies.">
  • Plan and execute audit files without supervision.">
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop Financial Audit strategies and methodologies.">
  • Work closely with Senior Managers to identify potential problem areas or budget difficulties.">
  • Coordinate engagements independently, reporting directly to Partners as needed.">
  • Stay aware of various reporting and regulatory requirements.">
  • Analyse and document internal controls and control environments.">
  • Draft management letters and completion reports.">
  • Cultivate and mentor junior colleagues, building internal relationships.">
  • Engage with clients and explore future opportunities.">

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.">
  • 4+ years of external audit experience in a professional services firm.">
  • CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) – highly regarded but not essential.">
