This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Community Support Worker, you will become an integral part of their support system, building positive relationships and empowering them to maintain their independence.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understanding. They will also have a Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care and previous experience working in the community or Residential Aged Care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including shopping, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.
- Support clients to maintain their well-being and independence, promoting their overall health and quality of life.
- Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care (essential)
- Previous experience working in the community or Residential Aged Care (desirable)
- A valid driver's licence with access to your own vehicle
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate flexible decision making and advanced problem-solving skills
