We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team in providing immediate crisis care response to victim survivors of sexual assault. As a key member of our crisis line, you will work in a hospital setting, providing short-term crisis counseling and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate crisis care response to victim survivors of sexual assault
- Work on a crisis line, responding to calls and providing support
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of social workers and counselors to support victim survivors
- Develop and implement crisis response plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for victim survivors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a relevant health profession
- At least 2 years of experience working with domestic and family violence, gendered violence, or sexual assault
- Understanding of the drivers of sexual assault and violence against women
- Knowledge of contemporary issues related to violence against women
