Housing and Homelessness Support Manager

Wintringham is seeking an experienced leader to support the Housing and Homelessness Support Metro Vic Team on a fixed-term basis. As an Acting Role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management of the Housing and Homelessness service delivery function in accordance with contractual and legislative requirements within the Melbourne metro area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the performance of the Housing and Homelessness Support Services team through coaching, supervision, and regular feedback.
  • Ensure programs operate within allocated budgets and maintain expertise in the field of housing and homelessness support.
  • Build positive relationships with other agencies to ensure clients can access services to meet their needs.
  • Maintain organisational policies and procedures and ensure a smooth transition to the new HHS Manager Metro Vic.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience in homelessness services, delivering operational results and achieving budget targets.
  • Qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Services, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth and State Government policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated skills in financial management and operational knowledge of Wintringham policies and procedures.
