Launch Housing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader - Case Management to oversee and supervise the Case Management team at our East St. Kilda Women's Crisis Accommodation site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Case Management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients, and promoting a culture of excellence and best practice within the team.
This is a permanent, part-time position, working 68.4 hours per fortnight, with a competitive hourly rate of $50.76 + super + NFP salary packaging.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the Case Management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
- Oversee and supervise the Case Management team, ensuring compliance with Launch Housing policies and procedures.
- Co-coordinate the induction and training of new staff members and facilitate ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Ensure team compliance with all Launch Housing policies, procedures, and relevant practices, as well as aligning with relevant legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements.
- Assist in managing critical incidents and other risks that arise at the facility in accordance with Launch Housing policy and DFFH requirements.
- Participate in the on-call roster.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of services to clients with complex needs, including those who are pregnant and experiencing homelessness.
- Demonstrated understanding of housing and homelessness policy, context, and systems.
- Sound understanding of dual diagnosis.
- Ability to work effectively with people experiencing complex life stress with past/present trauma experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to provide co-case management with multi-disciplinary services in order to provide effective client solutions.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
