Mort & Co Fertilisers operates a unique facility, employing innovative technology to produce environmentally friendly, carbon-based product. This state-of-the-art facility is the first of its kind in Australia. The plant repurposes manure to supply sustainable, industry leading products to all types of Australian farms.
ABOUT THE ROLE
To support our continued growth Mort & Co Fertilisers is looking for an additional Plant Operator (Pad) to join our team. The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Operating plant including a loader, screener, water truck and turner to ensure efficient and accurate manure pad operations
- Ensuring machinery is kept in clean and safe working order
- Carrying out duties in a manner that prioritises own health and safety and that of others
- Support with granulation factory operation as required
ABOUT YOU
The key criteria for the position are:
- Experience operating heavy plant and vehicles such as loader, water trucks etc
- A High Risk Fortlift Licence is highly desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated effective verbal communication
- Ability to work cooperatively with the team to achieve requirements of the tasks and activities required in day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrated application of quality assurance and accurate record keeping.
