As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing turnkey energy and power systems that contribute to a more sustainable future.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to join our team in delivering innovative clean energy solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to devise and deliver economical and practical solutions that meet project requirements and drivers.
- You will apply a comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering principles to develop solutions that are safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly.
- You will ensure all activities are performed in accordance with Australian standards and project-specific technical standards as may be applicable.
- You will assume responsibility for the complete management of projects, including subconsultants and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement turnkey energy and power systems that meet client needs and expectations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring timely completion of projects within budget and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the clean energy sector.
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree accredited by Engineers Australia at the level of Professional Engineer.
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and Australian construction safety induction (preferred).
