Electrical Engineer Opportunity

This is a challenging role that requires expertise in electrical and instrumentation design, including the review and marking up of technical drawings and provision of construction and commissioning support. As a senior engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects, including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 7-10 years of experience as an engineer in Australia, with experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design. You will be able to prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work. Additionally, you will require site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management.

Excellent communication skills are essential for regular client interaction, and proficiency in both spoken and written English is required. Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards is also necessary.

Expertise in hazardous areas design and proficiency in hazardous areas design are key requirements. The ability to conduct early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems, including proficiency in electrical system calculations, is also essential.
