Electrical Engineer Job Description Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of project activities, including design documents, testing results, and commissioning certificates.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the mining, infrastructure, utilities, and manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including LV and HV design, cable management, protection systems, substations, motor controls, and switchboards.
  • Familiarity with Power tools for Windows (PTW), eTap, and Power Cad 5.
  • Experience with DigSILENT Power Factory is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
