**Job Title:** Primary Teacher

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated teacher to join our team as a primary teacher. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and learning, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement quality curriculum programs.

About the Role:

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress, using data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and stay up-to-date with best practices in education.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in teaching junior mathematics and science in primary school.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy practices, with a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proven organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to child safety, with a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
