Indigenous Learning Advisor

The Indigenous Learning Advisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the academic success of Indigenous students through culturally safe, strengths-based support.

This dynamic role provides academic advice from personalized course planning and navigating university systems to connecting students with a broad range of academic, cultural, and wellbeing resources.

Working collaboratively with faculties, student services, and Indigenous support networks across the university, the Advisor helps create a culturally inclusive and respectful learning environment where Indigenous students thrive.

We are seeking an Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander person with a Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

The successful applicant will possess strong computer skills including knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and iLearn, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
