We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our People & Culture team for a 13-month contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering effective people strategies and programs to achieve BDO's people goals across the employee life cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support stakeholders in the development and delivery of talent strategies to drive business outcomes.
- Lead the delivery of HR projects, solutions, and services that build capability, improve performance, and enhance employee engagement.
- Contribute to creating a safe, positive workplace culture based on shared values and common goals.
- Manage and advise senior leaders on all people matters, including employee relations, performance, remuneration, engagement, inclusion, and diversity.
- Provide specialist advice, guidance, and support on organizational change projects.
- Build and maintain strategic working relationships with client groups and key stakeholders to understand and anticipate business needs and priorities.
- Use your knowledge of current trends and best practices to educate and support others in making informed decisions.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, change management, or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
- Prior experience in a business partnering role, with a focus on talent development and growth.
- Experience in developing business strategies and knowledge of current trends and best practices in HR.
- Knowledge and practical experience in change management activities and exposure to talent management methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive business outcomes.
- Knowledge and understanding of employment-related laws, employee relations, and risk management issues.
