Job Description:

The Central Kitchen in Newstead, QLD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced team leader to manage the end-to-end operations of their facility.

As a kitchen supervisor, you will oversee a team of staff, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. You will assist with ingredient preparation, inventory management, and critical food safety and sanitation practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing kitchen team
  • Use state-of-the-art processing machines to prepare ingredients
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular counts
  • Ensure product quality, food safety, and sanitation standards are met
  • Train employees on safe operation of equipment and proper handling of hazardous materials
  • Model and reinforce a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience as a team leader or kitchen supervisor
  • Experience working in industrial and/or restaurant kitchens
  • Possess strong leadership skills, approachability, and a reputation as a role model
  • Reflective of Fishbowl's ethos: self-motivated, positive, service-oriented, flexible, and ethical with high integrity
