Job Overview

The Regulatory Operations Group (ROG) is responsible for promoting workplace safety and health across its jurisdiction.

To achieve this, ROG implements an integrated program of continuous improvement and compliance activities targeting high-risk issues or entities.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in planning, allocating, and managing regional office workload requirements to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members on complex aspects of their work.
  • Building and sustaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Mandatory Qualifications

A Diploma of Government (Workplace Inspection) is required within 18 months of engagement.

Security Clearance

Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.

Special Conditions

This role requires:

  • Hold and maintain a motor vehicle driver licence for at least a motor car.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call roster as operational necessities dictate.
  • Ability to travel intra and interstate including overnight absences.
