
Inventory Coordinator

A challenging opportunity has arisen to work with a renowned client at Melbourne Airport West as an experienced inventory coordinator.
This is a dynamic position that requires working with a great team in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing receipt, processing, storage and dispatch of goods.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate records of all inventory transactions and stock levels
- Loading and unloading of stock
- Ensuring products are checked and quality documents are in place
- Undertaking regular stock take processes
- Working in accordance with quality requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Certificate III in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Inventory)
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/spares/inventory management experience in a maintenance/engineering and/or manufacturing environment
- A current LF Forklift Licence
- Knowledge of and/or experience working with inventory systems
- High attention to detail
- Experience using inventory management IT systems
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a passion for delivering results and a drive to continuously improve processes.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management process. As an experienced inventory coordinator, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, storing and dispatching goods.
You will also be required to maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions and stock levels. This will involve loading and unloading stock, ensuring products are checked and quality documents are in place, undertaking regular stock take processes and working in accordance with quality requirements.
We are looking for someone with a Certificate III in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Inventory) or similar qualification, who has minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse/spares/inventory management in a maintenance/engineering and/or manufacturing environment.
It would also be beneficial if you have a current LF Forklift Licence, knowledge of and/or experience working with inventory systems, high attention to detail and experience using inventory management IT systems.
