Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage cases of families referred from The Orange Door and Child Protection, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Maintain detailed records of assessments, interactions, and case progress, adhering to legal and policy guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with families to identify their needs and connect them with appropriate services, promoting holistic care and support.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans, setting clear goals and timelines, and addressing health, development, and family-related issues.
  • Advocate on behalf of families with other services, agencies, and government departments, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in working with vulnerable families, with a proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with various organizations.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely completion of case management tasks.
