About the Role

As a Financial Administrator for Succession Planning at RSM Australia, you will play a critical role in assisting our succession team with various tasks related to deceased estates. This includes preparing tax returns, obtaining Grants of Probate, and maintaining records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the succession team with the administration of deceased estates, including preparation of tax returns and obtaining Grants of Probate.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for deceased estates, including schedules of assets and liabilities and distribution statements.
  • Liaise with various parties, such as executors, beneficiaries, legal representatives, and government bodies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce with an Accounting major.
  • 1-2 years experience working as an accountant, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel.
