We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and take on new challenges. You will assist skilled trade workers with daily tasks such as grinding, welding, cutting, and metal fabrication while ensuring the efficient and safe completion of tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist skilled trade workers with daily tasks
  • Handle materials and tools, ensuring proper organization and distribution for client orders
  • Operate and maintain equipment under supervision, maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • Liaise with department supervisors to address any changes in production schedules or workload
  • Maintain high levels of customer service through effective communication and adherence to quality standards
  • Participate in learning and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

  • PREFERRED: Forklift License
  • ESSENTIAL: QLD Manual Driver's License
  • High attention to detail and commitment to meeting client expectations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
