About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to join a leading aged care provider that values its team members, offers a supportive working environment, and has a genuine desire to develop its people. Your responsibilities will involve:
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, including regular cleaning and disinfection of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.
- Ensuring that waste management procedures are followed, including disposing of regular trash and medical waste in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
- FOLLOWING STRICT INFECTION CONTROL PROTOCOLS TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF INFECTIONS, INCLUDING USING APPROPRIATE CLEANING AGENTS AND PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE).
- Stocking cleaning and hygiene supplies, such as soaps, sanitizers, and cleaning agents, to ensure they are adequately available for residents and staff.
- Operating equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys, and consumables.
