Energy and Resources Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead the delivery of key projects within our Energy and Resources Program.
- This role involves managing all aspects of project delivery, including financial and resource forecasting, risk management, and team performance.
The ideal candidate will have advanced project management skills, experience in working with internal and external stakeholders, and a strong ability to communicate effectively.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and implementing project plans, ensuring timely delivery and within budget;
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders to manage risks and issues;
- Maintaining project artefacts following prescribed standards;
- Contributing to the improvement of project management governance standards, processes, and templates;
- Ensuring compliance with work, health, and safety policies and procedures;
- Applying the Bureau's Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion in the work area.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A degree or diploma from an Australian educational institution, or comparable overseas qualification;
- Experience in project management, preferably in the energy and resources sector;
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work in a team-based environment;
- Able to travel as required.
