A leading energy company is seeking an experienced project development professional to drive the growth of its renewable energy projects.

About the Role
  • Develop and manage solar, battery energy storage system (BESS) and wind projects from inception to completion.
  • Lead planning, permitting and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including landowners.
  • Oversee front-end activities, including technical requirements, commercials and environmental assessments.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in utility scale renewable energy project development. They should possess strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with Australian regulatory standards and compliance is essential for developing utility scale renewable projects and connecting them to the network.

This role will play a critical part in driving business development and identifying opportunities for the company to develop renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow the company's renewable energy portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including landowners.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet Australian regulatory standards and comply with relevant regulations.
