Job Title: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant

This is a dynamic role that involves working in a warehouse and on the road to ensure timely delivery of goods to our customers.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced driver with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. As a delivery driver/warehouse assistant, you will be responsible for safely operating a company vehicle, managing stock levels, and ensuring accurate inventory reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Duties include:
  •   - Operating a company vehicle to transport goods to various locations;
  •   - Managing stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory reporting;
  •   - Assisting with warehouse operations, including receiving and dispatching goods;
  •   - Maintaining a safe and organized workspace;
  •   - Communicating effectively with colleagues, customers, and management;
  •   - Adhering to company policies and procedures;
  •   - Performing administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A passion for driving and logistics;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks;
  • A current driver's license and a clean driving record;
  • Forklift operation training or experience;
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications;
  • Ability to lift cartons and other heavy items regularly;
  • A good understanding of the Tasmanian area, local & regional road networks;
  • A current Covid & flu vaccination (Covid vaccinations must be maintained as per government mandates for healthcare workers).
