Community Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Community Outreach Coordinator to work directly with homeowners in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

The ideal candidate will have a background in community relations, communication, engagement, or case management and possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting complex engagement processes and leading conversations and interactions with eligible homeowners
  • Delivering face-to-face engagement with property owners, community members, and industry groups
  • Identifying and reporting issues and concerns and maintaining a database of homeowner information and interactions via Consultation Manager
  • Working with a team of field staff to streamline interactions with homeowners and ensure that complex technical information is understood by homeowners
  • Preparing information and materials to support the roll out of information
  • Attending community events and information sessions to share information about the project and interact in the local communities
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect
