The M1 South Blackhill To Tomago Project is a major infrastructure development involving the delivery of a 10-kilometre dual carriageway motorway extension between Black Hill and Tomago.

About The Role
  • We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to coordinate on-site construction engineering activities ensuring project objectives are met.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on-site teams in achieving project time and budget goals.

This opportunity is available for approximately six months with plans to transfer to another project thereafter.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with projects engineers and supervisors to deliver programme requirements from a cost and time perspective.
  • Significant input in managing project quality systems including inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping.
  • Planning & programming.
  • Assisting with procurement & supplier management.
  • Ensuring compliance of works undertaken in relation to technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals and standards with a focus on risk management.

To be Successful In This Key Role, You Must Have:

  • Proven experience in working on civil infrastructure projects.
  • Degree qualified Civil Engineer with at least three years post graduate experience.
  • Understanding contemporary practices in construction methodology on civil infrastructure projects.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
  • A team player with the ability to deliver on tight deadlines.
