Job Description

We operate and maintain a critical communications network that provides essential services to the community.

The role of Senior Communications Engineer is a crucial part of our operations team, responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support and maintenance for Motorola P25 networks.
  • Support network management tools and architecture.
  • Assist in the technical change management process by testing changes that may affect End User Devices.
  • Escalate issues and provide support to level 3 teams as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Expert understanding of protocols, standards, and interfaces for interoperability within networks.
  • Advanced knowledge of DC power systems and batteries.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including effective communication and consultation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
