Role Overview

A highly skilled and experienced Clinical Dietitian is sought to provide high-quality, evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetics services to consumers across the hospital.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their clinical skills and knowledge, contribute to quality improvement activities, and provide clinical supervision to students on placement as appropriate.

As a key member of the Dietetic Department, the successful occupant will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Nutrition and Dietetic care to consumers across the hospital
  • Develop high-level clinical skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide clinical supervision to students on placement as required
Selection Criteria:
  • Qualifications in line with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award
  • Recent and relevant experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage effectively with patients/clients
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to exercise independent professional judgment on routine matters commensurate with years of experience
  • Commitment to quality improvement and the application of evidence-based practice
  • Commitment to ongoing clinical and professional development
