Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics

We are seeking a talented educator with a passion for teaching, research, and scholarly activity to join our faculty as a lecturer or senior lecturer in nutrition and dietetics.

The successful applicant will have completed a PhD and received the Accredited Practising Dietitian credential. They will be responsible for undertaking independent teaching and applying research or scholarly activity to enhance educational practices and outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching postgraduate students in nutrition and dietetics
  • Supervising the 10 weeks clinical dietetics placement program
  • Conducting original research independently or as part of a team
  • Engaging in high-quality teaching and learning experiences

The ideal candidate will have proven experience conducting original research and engaging in scholarly activity, a developing research profile, and demonstrated excellence in teaching inclusive of experiential learning. They will also possess an established network of academic, industry, and professional partners and stakeholders, and a reputation at a national level as influential in expanding knowledge, pedagogical, or curriculum innovation.
