Clinical Nutrition Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our healthcare team. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nutrition services to allocated clinical areas and supervising junior staff in the delivery of nutrition services.
As a Senior Clinical Nutrition Specialist, your primary focus will be on maintaining standards of quality nutritional care, education, and consultancy for patients, staff, and the wider community. You will plan, implement, evaluate, and report on services to improve patient outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice, and lead ongoing quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high-quality nutritional care and consultancy services for patients, staff, and the wider community
- Plan and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
- Lead quality improvement activities and maintain high standards of practice
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics with eligibility for full membership of the relevant professional association
- Extensive clinical experience as a senior dietitian or nutritionist
- Highly developed skills and knowledge in current nutrition and dietetic practice
Working Conditions:
- Work autonomously with limited supervision
- Prioritize work, manage a demanding workload, and apply high-level reasoning skills
- Independent professional judgment is essential
