Lecturer/Snr Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics: A Role for the Ambitious

We are seeking a talented academic with a passion for teaching, research and leadership to join our team as a Lecturer/Snr Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training programs, conducting original research, and providing leadership and guidance to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Learning: Develop and deliver lectures, seminars and tutorials to postgraduate students in nutrition and dietetics, and supervise clinical dietetics placements.
  • Research: Conduct original research independently or as part of a team, focusing on publication, conference presentations and securing research funding.
  • Leadership and Service: Provide leadership that has a significant impact on teaching, innovation, curriculum development and research training within the school or faculty, and coordinate activities of academic staff and provide training and mentorship to less experienced lecturers.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: PhD in Nutrition and Dietetics, Accredited Practising Dietitian with Dietitians Australia.
  • Experience: Proven experience conducting original research and engaging in scholarly activity, demonstrated experience in teaching and learning within an established program in nutrition and/or dietetics, and proven experience in designing, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives.
