Seeking an accomplished culinary leader to oversee our Flight Catering team at Perth Airport. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a seasoned Executive Sous Chef looking to drive innovation and excellence in airline food quality.

About the Role:
  • Leadership: Provide operational direction, support, and guidance to achieve divisional objectives.
  • Planning: Oversee daily and weekly planning of food preparation, shift allocation, and rostering to ensure efficient execution.
  • Purchasing: Manage ordering and purchasing of produce through systems to maintain quality standards.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Attend business strategy meetings and collaborate with the wider business to align production operations with overall strategy.

This role requires a strong focus on:

  • Maintaining world-class airline food quality standards across all classes.
  • Overseeing department planning and execution to ensure budgeted production targets are met.
  • Coordinating labour, resources, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency within budget.
  • Managing food catering, including meal presentations, charter catering, menu changes, and audits.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and productivity enhancement.
  • Developing and motivating the Kitchen team.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, including HACCP and WHS.
  • Minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Providing required training to Kitchen staff.

Requirements:
