Job Description

The role of Bid Specialist involves evaluating Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and Requests for Information (RFI) to determine strategic fit and participate in sales strategy decisions.

As an integral member of the bid function, you will support the development of winning responses to RfXs by coordinating with stakeholders and managing project timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the sales team in identifying suitable candidates for proposal response teams.
  • Manage the RFx response process, including meetings and coordination with internal and external resources.
  • Develop a comprehensive proposal response project schedule.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders involved in the RfX development effort.
  • Ensure timely completion of all deadlines internally and externally during the RFx response process.
  • Maintain accurate project files for each opportunity.
  • Collaborate with account executives, sales managers, consultants, technical resources, legal, and other internal resources.
  • Ensure proposals are thoroughly researched, well-structured, and compliant with customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Advanced skills in organising, conducting, and facilitating response review meetings.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience working as a bid writer, coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience coordinating bids with technology partners is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work autonomously and escalate issues when necessary.
