As a key member of our news team, you will be responsible for collecting and presenting compelling local stories. Your role will involve working closely with the team to develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and organisations.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Gathering and presenting engaging local news stories
  • Reporting to your supervisor and collaborating with the team
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Representing the organisation professionally and courteously

We are looking for an individual with a degree in journalism or a related field who has proven skills in journalism and editorial work. You should also have a solid understanding of media law and ethics, as well as the ability to write scripts for TV news format.

  • Hold a degree in journalism or a related subject

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of media law and ethics
  • Be competent in script writing for TV news format
