Sky News is looking for an enthusiastic journalist to join its multi award winning team, as a Political Reporter. As Australia's 47th Parliament begins, there's no better time to join one of the most recognised news teams in Australian politics.

**What's the role?**
- Work as a member of the Sky News Canberra team
- Reporting live from Sky News' Parliament House Bureau across the day on key political stories and breaking news
- Attending and watching news conferences and interview, as well as turning around content for on air broadcast
- Filing pre-recorded packages, look lives, interviews and feature stories
- Seeking out your own original and breaking news content
- Collaborating with other reporters and producers on stories

**Who are you?**
- You have demonstrable experience in political journalism as well as a good knowledge and understanding of the Australian and global political landscape
- A commitment to working in a team and a readiness to flex to the demands of a non-stop news organisation
- You have strong editorial judgement to determine key angles and stories
- You have excellent and concise writing skills
- Television reporting experience is desirable, but not required
