**Role Summary:**

The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) is a key member of the executive team and plays a pivotal role in maintaining the risk management framework.

**Responsibilities:

  • Senior executive oversight of accountable functions, including risk advice, reporting, and counsel to stakeholders.
  • Supervising direct reports' delegated responsibilities and project-related tasks.
  • Escalating material issues to the Board, Board Committees, CEO, and Executive Committee members.

**Functional Accountabilities:

  • Delivery of risk function responsibilities under the RMF, including assessing and advising on risk culture and compliance framework.
  • Developing and presenting policies, procedures, and methodologies for a performing insurance book of business.

**Key Competencies:

  • Expertise in mortgage credit risk, LMI, and structured financial transactions.
  • Technical knowledge of regulatory capital rules and regulations.
  • Insight into key drivers of residential mortgage credit losses.

**Requirements:

  • MBA or bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
  • Approximately 10-15 years of experience in risk management and analysis.

  • Flexibility to accommodate different time zones.
