About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programmatic Partnerships Lead to join our Commerce team in Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and growing programmatic relationships with some of our highest priority merchants, ad agencies, and holding companies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and Grow Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our ad tech partners, especially Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) and their sales teams, as well as programmatic teams at agencies, holding companies, and clients in ANZ.
  2. Drive Agency and Advertiser Relationships: Collaborate with our affiliate sales team to ensure we are maximizing our opportunity with each client and driving revenue growth.
  3. Develop Media and Campaign Strategies: Successfully ideate on and develop media and campaign strategies, as well as advise on the structure of programmatic and/or digital media campaigns across various digital channels (i.e. display, native, video, audio, etc.) to meet or exceed client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  4. Optimize Budget Allocation: Lead the recommendation of budget optimization across programmatic and digital media placements to deliver positive return on marketing spend.
  5. Contribute to New Audience Segments: Contribute to the development and testing of new audience segments (i.e. retargeting, lookalikes, custom audiences, etc.) to ensure documented results.
  6. Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting new products/businesses, and creatively problem-solve to drive cross-team collaboration and knowledge gathering to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction.
  7. Reporting and Stakeholder Management: Be part of the Ad Operations and Partnerships team and report to the Head of Programmatic Partnerships, while also being the go-to person for all things programmatic for internal stakeholders and our external partners and clients in ANZ.
  8. Business Insights and Opportunities: Work with our business operations, finance, partnerships, and sales teams to surface new insights and opportunities for the business.
  9. Adaptability and Teamwork: Be comfortable going between being an independent business driver and a supportive team player.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of partnerships or sales experience within a buy-side ad tech company, working directly with brands and ad agencies to drive monetization of programmatic solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of the advertising agency landscape, Demand Side Platforms, and identity resolution tech.
  • Experience with, and understanding of, omnichannel advertising ecosystem and the ad tech landscape that helps to power it.
  • Hands-on keyboard executional experience in at least one DSP platform.
  • Comprehensive in-platform knowledge of programmatic buying, audience creation, campaign management, and in-dash optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of 3rd party tracking, serving, and attribution technologies.
