About the Role

The Assistant Director is a highly skilled professional who provides leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations of the Centre.

As a Senior Educator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality education and care programs, and actively mentoring and developing the broader team.

Green Leaves Early Learning is committed to building innovative and sustainable learning environments in our state-of-the-art, purpose-built centres.

In this role, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support the team in the development and delivery of educational programs, and be responsible for creating positive, professional, and genuine relationships with team members, children, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Centre Director on day-to-day operations and step up to cover the role in their absence.
  • Create positive, professional, and genuine relationships with team members, children, and their families.
  • Leverage your experience to develop and deliver high standards of educational programs.
  • Seek perspectives, actively listen, and take on board feedback to further develop ideas or resolve concerns.
  • Demonstrate warmth, compassion, and gentleness in your communication, and have strong time management, organisational, written, and verbal skills.
  • Focus on quality improvement and supporting teams to understand and follow Green Leaves policy and procedure.
  • Display high levels of initiative and motivation, being proactive and flexible with a mature approach.
  • Be available to work part-time or full-time hours each week, on rotating shifts between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm.
