Catholic Education NT is a network of 18 schools in the Northern Territory, including five colleges, seven primary schools, one flexible learning centre, and five remote schools. The Role

The School Improvement Partner will be responsible for delivering improved school quality and performance in partnership with school leaders. This will involve supporting schools with their strategic directions and complex operational demands, as well as monitoring and promoting the wellbeing of school leaders.

The successful applicant will be a highly experienced educator with demonstrated achievement, leadership, and professional capacity in the following areas:

  • Demonstrate and foster in others a commitment to the vision and mission of Catholic Education
  • Articulate an understanding of contemporary issues in the Catholic Church
  • Successful Principalship in Catholic Education
  • Effectiveness in managing teams to drive system performance and strategic directions
  • Sound knowledge of the policy landscape, governance requirements, and legislation relevant to the non-government education sector
  • Ability to provide educational leadership responsive to local context and engaging with contemporary issues in education and evidence-based practices
  • Outstanding skills in communication, relationship building, and conflict resolution
  • Tertiary qualifications in education, ideally at least at a Masters Level
