About the Role

The Deputy Principal provides high-level leadership, counsel, and support to the Principal across all aspects of the College, with a specific focus on:

  • Pastoral Care and Wellbeing
  • Timetabling
  • Daily Organisation
  • Staff Management

The Deputy Principal is responsible for communicating the College's vision to the school community and working collaboratively with the senior leadership team to achieve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and support to the Principal
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the College's vision is achieved
  • Manage the College's operations, including timetabling, daily organisation, and staff management
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to achieve student outcomes
  • Communicate the College's vision to the school community
Requirements
  • Catholic who is an active member of a Catholic Eucharistic community
  • Postgraduate qualifications or undertaking to commence studies in Religious Education, Theology, and/or Educational Leadership
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the NT Teacher Registration Board
  • Working with Children Card (Ochre Card NT)
