As a Carer with our organisation, you will have the rewarding opportunity to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents at our beautiful Residential Care Centre. Our homely bedrooms offer direct access to landscaped gardens and pathways where you can take a stroll, relax, and enjoy the fresh air.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to residents as specified in their individualised care plans.
- Encourage and promote the activities program for residents, including social events and group activities.
- Assist residents to communicate effectively, ensuring their rights, interests, and needs are respected and met.
- Respond promptly to resident's requests for personal care and other assistance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident's information, using relevant systems and adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
- Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing or equivalent qualification.
- Have previous experience working in Residential Aged Care (6 months+).
- Be available to work various shifts over 3-4 days per week.
- possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to relate to elderly residents with empathy and understanding.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
