Are you ready to make a tangible difference in the lives of injured workers? As an experienced Claims Advisor - Workers Compensation, you will play a crucial role in delivering timely, cost-effective, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of complex workers' compensation claims from inception to settlement, utilizing your strong technical claims handling and injury management skills.
  • Collaborate closely with injured workers, employers, brokers, legal vendors, and regulators to deliver exceptional results.
  • Set and review reserves, develop case strategies, and escalate issues when needed, ensuring all claims activities meet governance, legislative, and quality assurance requirements.

About You:

  • Proven experience in Workers' Compensation claims, with sound knowledge of Western Australia Workers' Compensation legislation and experience working within statutory schemes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong decision-making and case planning skills, including setting and reviewing reserves and developing case strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple deadlines while maintaining high-quality customer service standards.
