This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the delivery of significant community infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across multiple project management teams, ensuring seamless execution throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert project and administrative support, including report preparation, document management, governance reporting, and financial administration.
  • Develop and maintain efficient administrative systems to facilitate successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary qualification in administration, project management or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in project and administration support in the delivery of major capital projects within a local government or community services context.
  • Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and adapt communications to meet different needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications and administrative systems.
  • Ability to show initiative, innovation and creativity when approaching tasks.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities to develop new processes and procedures to improve project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to the position.
