Dementia Support Specialist

Our goal is to find a dedicated and passionate individual who can provide exceptional support to residents in living their lives with choice and independence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting residents with personal care and hygiene tasks, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Supporting residents with daily personal care needs while prioritizing their comfort and dignity.
- Implementing care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, in accordance with resident plans of care.
- Engaging with residents and providing holistic care that meets their physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs.
We are seeking an individual who is compassionate, empathetic, and able to work effectively in a team environment. If you have a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification, and experience in dementia support, we encourage you to apply.
About You:- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (Essential).
- Experience in dementia support and ability to engage with residents.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated flexibility, empathy, and patience when working with aged persons.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and respect for residents' privacy, dignity, and self-esteem.
