Personal Care Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to residents.

The role involves supporting residents to live independently, while also contributing to their physical, emotional and lifestyle needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in individual support, or equivalent recognised qualification, and experience in dementia support.

  • Supporting residents with personal care and hygiene needs
  • Implementing clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse
  • Assisting residents to exercise choice and independence
Key Responsibilities
  1. Support residents to live independently and make informed choices about their lives
  2. Contribute to the overall well-being of residents through assessment and observation
  3. Implement care interventions as directed by the Registered Nurse
  4. Provide holistic care to residents
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in individual support or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Experience in dementia support
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility, empathy and patience
