Intermediate Rigger - Energy Services

A challenging opportunity exists for an experienced Intermediate Rigger to join our team at Port Kembla Steelworks. As a key member of our Energy Services department, you will be responsible for a variety of rigging tasks in support of maintenance and project work across the site.

Job Description:

As an Intermediate Rigger, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of rigging operations. You will work collaboratively with other teams to achieve project objectives while maintaining high levels of safety awareness and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute rigging operations to ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures;
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with rigging operations;
  • Maintain accurate records of all rigging operations performed, including equipment used and any issues encountered;
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High Risk Work Licence - Intermediate Rigging (RI);
  • A current Forklift Licence;
  • An Overhead Crane Ticket;
  • Working at Heights & Confined Space certifications;
  • A strong commitment to safe work practices and a proven ability to maintain a safe working environment.
